PURPOSE:To improve preservability such as water resistance, moisture resistance, etc., of a coloring image, and to reduce a skin fog by employing specific sulfide compound as a developer. CONSTITUTION:In a heat sensitive recording material utilizing coloring reaction of leuco dye with developer, bis(2-hydroxy-3-tertiary butyl-6-methylphenyl)sulfide is employed as the developer. In this case, other developer may be used as required, and the developer desirably includes, for example, phenol compound such as electron acceptor for coloring at the time of contact with leuco dye, thiophenol compound, thiourea derivative, organic acid and its metallic salt, etc. |
