The invention relates to a food and dietetic supplement for energy-giving purposes. The food supplement has the form of a tablet or of a powder capable of being diluted in order to obtain a beverage; the food supplement is characterised in that it comprises amino acids having branched chains capable of supplying extra energy with a view to enabling the individual to sustain a possibly prolonged physical effort; the food supplement includes leucine combined with valine and isoleucine, the valine and isoleucine being present in mutually equal proportions and representing between 0.1 and 0.6 parts per part of leucine; the supplement also includes taurine in a proportion of between 0.02 and 0.04 parts per part of leucine, as well as vitamin C, vitamin E and vitamin B15, the vitamin C being present in a proportion in the region of 0.2 with respect to the leucine, whereas the vitamins E and B15 are in a ratio of the order of 0.1 with respect to vitamin C. The food supplement also includes, in the trace state, ions and trace elements as well as non-reducing sugars as supports. |
