PURPOSE:To form automatic heating apparatus easy in handleability, by reducing the number of keys on an operating panel, and making the operating feeling easy. CONSTITUTION:On an operating panel 3, function keys 9 of the present invention are arranged. The function keys 9 are arranged in accordance with categories. For example, they are classified into ''reheat (a),'' ''preparation (b),'' ''thawing (c),'' ''pot-steamed hotchpotch (d),'' ''boiling (e),'' ''grill (f)'' and ''oven (g).'' Each function is further subdivided into menues. The ''reheat'' function keys are subdivided into three menues, ''cool rice (h),'' ''soup and bowl food (i)'' and ''curry a and stew (j).'' In the case of manual heating, the desired function key, e.g., the ''reheat'' key is pushed. At this time, any of the three menues can be pushed. Then a timer 7 is turned and a heating time is set. Finally, a start key 6 is pushed. Then the manual heating using the timer is executed. Thus the function keys can be selected in accordance with what kind of cooling the user wants. Therefore it is not necessary to worry in selecting the kind and output of heat source as in a conventional method. |
