PURPOSE:To make a hydraulic control device compact by providing a sump device which is installed in the hydraulic circuit of an antiskid brake control device and forming the liquid housing chamber of the sump device as a part of the working fluid passage. CONSTITUTION:In an antiskid brake control device, the captioned sump device 1 provided in a working fluid passage 4 between a solenoid valve 2 and a pump 3 has a stepped hole 6 which is formed in the working fluid passage 4 and which extends in the same direction as the working fluid passage 4. A stepped piston 7 is fitted in the stepped hole 6 being energized on a larger diameter piston portion 7a side, i.e., upward by means of a spring 8. A through hole 7c is provided on the piston 7 while also providing a through hole 9a on an upward movement restricting member 9 for restricting the upward movement of the piston 7 coaxially with the through hole 7c. A working fluid housing chamber 1a is formed between the piston 7 and the upward movement restricting member 9.
