PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform plate thickness by equalizing the distribution of the pressure applied to a prepreg during curing molding by interposing an auxiliary plate between the release film of the bent part of a composite panel and an air permeable fabric along the bent part of a mold to perform molding. CONSTITUTION:A prepreg 11 is superposed on a mold 12 and a release film 16 is superposed on the prepreg 11. Next, a molding template 21 is superposed on the release film 16 on a bent part and in the vicinity thereof. The molding template 21 has such a shape that heat capacity does not obstruct a temp. rise and no trouble is generated in evacuation packing work. Subsequently, an air permeable fabric 17 is superposed on the molding template 21 to be covered with a polyester film 13 and, thereafter, the whole is pressed under vacuum to be subjected to heat-molding. The external pressure of the bent part is dispersed to the circumferential flat part by the bending rigidity of the molding template 21 itself and the distribution of the pressure applied to the prepreg 11 during curing molding is equalized. As a result, the reduction in the plate thickness of a molded product at the bent part is relieved and a uniform plate thickness is obtained. |
