PURPOSE: To facilitate release of a door in a window glass rising position by a method wherein when a seal belt piece or the main body thereof is engaged in a sealing state with a main body part and a window glass, the main body part of the seal belt piece is compressed along a length direction to a narrower width on the roof line side than on the belt line side of a vehicle body. CONSTITUTION: In seal engaging state, in a case of a compression state, the more the upper part of the hollow main body part 46 of a flexible seal belt piece 44 is more strongly compressed from a belt line 18 toward a roof line 16 and width is further decreased. The hollow main body part is tapered off along the direction of length and compressibility of the main body part 46 is relatively decreased on the line 16 side. Thereby, at the upper end seal point of a window glass 14, the edge 80 on the roof line side of the glass 14 is stably supported, and the glass 14 on which hinge-form operation is exerted is stably rotated around the line 16. Namely, when a belt piece 44 is engaged in a sealed state with the glass 14 in a rise position, when the door is released, sealing is released from the line 18 toward the line 16 side and separation is progressed and release of the door is facilitated. |
