PURPOSE:To obtain granular preparation having eliminated problems of difficulty in administration caused by hard drinking in prescription by granulating a protein polysaccharide derived from Coriolus versicolor by specific granulation and adjusting bulk density and solubility in water to specific ranges. CONSTITUTION:A protein polysaccharide (e.g. Krestin) derived from Coriolus versicolor is spray dried to give powder, which is granulated by any method of granulation using roller compactor, granulation using tableting machine, fluidizing granulation, extrusion granulation, rolling granulation or spiral granulation to give granular preparation having 0.50-0.90g/cm<3>, especially 0.60-0.80g/cm<3> bulk density, <=4 minutes-<30 minutes, especially 4-20 minutes dissolution time in water in dissolution test described in paddle method and particle size distribution comprising <=5wt.% based on total amounts of an amount to pass sieve No.10 and to remain in sieve No.12 and <=10wt.% based on the total amounts of an amount to pass sieve No.200. |
