Silo of generally parallelepipedal shape and with a horizontal flat bottom equipped with an extraction device consisting of a series of screws placed side by side on the bottom of the silo, parallel to one of its sides, so as to cover the entire bottom of the silo and ensure transfer of the stored products to a series of hoppers arranged under one end of the screws. In order to reduce the risks of clogging, the hoppers 22 are arranged edge to edge so as to leave no solid surface between them. Each hopper is fed by a plurality of screws 28, and the screw adjacent to the left edge of each hopper is driven in rotation clockwise, whereas the screw adjacent to the right-hand edge of the hopper is driven in the opposite sense, the senses of rotation of the screws situated between these two end screws being alternate. <IMAGE>
