PURPOSE:To form a fresh color-tone image having no color mixture and no feathering by employing a specific color eraser for colorant of leuco dye and coloring agent. CONSTITUTION:In a multicolor heat sensitive recording medium containing two or more heat sensitive coloring layers for coloring in different color-tones and leuco dye and coloring agent in at least one of the heat sensitive coloring layers, at least one type of compounds represented by a formula 1 is contained at a position to be color-erased for the colorant of the leuco dye and the coloring agent. In the formula 1, m is integer number of 2 - 5, R1, R2 are 1-18C alkyl group, 5-8C cycloalkyl group, 7-9C aralkyl group or 6-12C aryl group (which may has 1-4C alkyl group or 1-4C alkoxy group as substituted group), R3 is represented by a formula 2. In the formula 2, n is integer number of 3 - 10, R4, R5, R6 and R7 are hydrogen atom or 1-4C alkyl group. |
