The invention relates to a cover which can be put onto the saddle to give protection against the effects of the weather and when required is removed from a clamping holder (dry holder) situated in a small storage box which is open at the bottom. This device makes it possible for the cyclist always to have a dry saddle seat. What characterises the invention in particular is the fact that a wet cover is clamped onto a holder with fanned-out rods and is supplied with sufficient ventilation for drying through ventilation slits in the wall of the housing of the small box, which is preferably attached directly to the saddle. Furthermore, the housing of the small box, provided in two types of design, is equipped with a place for storing tools, which is situated in the lid or side region, and/or with a battery chamber for the electrical supply of the parking light of the bicycle. Furthermore, the invention envisages providing the upper region of the small box with a reflector (warning attachment), thus, even at this level on the bicycle, making a good contribution to road safety. Moreover, the walls of the housing of the small box have red and white reflecting stripes.
