The invention is concerned with a reusable adhering element, in particular with a grinding, abrading or polishing element which can be fastened by adhesion, or with an information sign to be repeatedly fastened by adhesion on a support, care having to be taken that the adhering element is effectively reusable even if its conventional adhesion coating becomes soiled. For this purpose, the adhering element is equipped with a protective pad, which is releasably attached on its conventional layer of adhesive and comprises at least one specially designed, peelable composite layer, which ensures repeated adhesive fastening of the adhering element. <IMAGE>
