The conveyor belt is intended for transporting goods to be cooled down. The conveyor belt consists of a multi-ply woven fabric. The woven fabric consists of para-aramid fibres, preferably in mixture with polyacrylonitrile fibres and/or polybenzimidazole fibres, and is not coated. In addition, the woven fabric has a three-ply plain construction in which the three plies are connected to one another by means of binding warp threads. <IMAGE>
