On a plastics injection-moulding machine having a machine foot (11) with covers (11a), on which a horizontally closing mould clamping unit (17) and an injection-moulding unit (18) are arranged, there is located a switch cabinet (15) and a manual operating panel (20) for direct control interventions and also a pivotable input unit (E), which comprises a visual display unit (16) and an input keyboard (19), can be transferred from a position of use into a position of rest within the space predetermined by the outside dimensions of the injection-moulding machine and is connected via at least one cable to the switch cabinet. The manual operating panel (20) and the input unit (E) are accessible directly from the operator's console. By virtue of the fact that the pivoting arm (33) of the input unit (E) and the underside (15b) of the switch cabinet (15) built on at the back lie approximately in the plane formed by the cover (11a) of the machine foot (11) and by virtue of the fact that the input unit (E), the switch cabinet (15) and the injection-moulding machine form if need be one structural unit, the preconditions exist for moving the input unit (E), the switch cabinet (15) and the injection-moulding machine in a space-saving manner as a structural unit, without ease of operation and ease of maintenance being neglected. <IMAGE>
