The invention relates to a labelling machine for vessels 2, in which the vessels 2 are labelled especially with all-round labels. The labelling machine has a turntable 4 with rotary plates 3, mounted on it, for the vessels 2 to be labelled, and at least one labelling station 5 arranged stationarily on the circumference of the turntable 4. The drive of the rotary plates 3 takes place via engagement members 10 which sense a control cam 8. The control cam 8 is designed in portions P1 to P3, not directly succeeding one another, for different programmes of rotation, by means of which vessels of different sizes must be rotated at the labelling station 5 for a fault-free transfer of the labels. Located in the regions between these portions P1 to P3 are portions which are designed for a constant rotational speed, especially 0. To obtain a specific programme of rotation at the stationary labelling station, the carrier of the control cam 8 is mounted rotatably in the turntable frame. The arrangement is such that any two of the portions designed for a constant rotational speed are located at the vessel entry and vessel exit. <IMAGE>
