A liquid pump has a pump impeller disposed on a driving shaft in the pump chamber of a pump casing, and a pump cover closing the pump chamber. A shaped part (12, 18) projects into the pump casing and partially forms the shape of the pump chamber (8). It is disposed on the inner face of the pump cover (1).
