PURPOSE:To facilitate regulation of the output timing of pulse signal by regulating the resistance of a variable resistor arranged between predetermined input terminal and output terminal of a Hall element arranged on a stator with respect to a rotary position detecting magnet fixed to the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of armature coils 5 are arranged annularly thus constituting a state 1. A Hall element 13 is arranged on a stator 1 corresponding to a rotary position detecting magnet 12 fixed at the outside of a cup-shaped yoke 8 fixed to a rotary shaft 7. The Hall element 13 is provided with a pair of input terminals 13a, 13b and a pair of output terminals 13c, 13d and variable resistor 17 is connected between the terminals 13a, 13b. AC voltage produced between the terminals 13c, 13d corresponding to the field linked with the Hall element is fed to a comparator 14. A mono-stable multivibrator 15 produces a pulse having a predetermined time width when the comparator 14 produces an output. Output point of the comparator 14 is adjusted through adjustment of the variable resistor 17. By such arrangement, an easily adjustable reference position detector is constituted where fine positional adjustment of Hole element is not required. |
