Mounting for a vibration generator

The invention relates to an elastically flexible mounting for a vibration generator which has a drive member excitable to longitudinal vibrations. A leaf spring elastically flexible in the direction of longitudinal vibration serves for the mounting. It is clamped at its free end in a bend-resistant manner relative to the pivotable mounting of the vibration generator by means of a holding fork and at the other end in a bend-resistant and stationary manner. By means of this mounting, essentially only movements along the axis of the longitudinal vibration are possible for the drive member of the vibration generator. Vibrations of other degrees of freedom are therefore suppressed and can no longer be coupled to the longitudinal vibrations and produce additional vibrations.
