Circular knitter pattern unit - has structured slides and inserts using little space for trouble-free pattern selection

The pattern selector slides, for a circular knitter, are arranged over each other with no free play and against inserts which are secured against horizontal sliding. The lock is rotating cylindrical rod fixed in the housing which, near the pattern selector slides has a displaced flat parallel to its centre axis on one side directed at the edge of the pattern selector slides. Each pattern selector slide has two recesses open towards the rod, with a gap between them matching the movement path between the active and inactive settings. Pref. a recessed zone in the pattern selector slide, close to the recesses runs along to the guide edge, and is open towards them. Inserts of different thicknesses are fitted with the pattern selector slides, that each slide is assembled with two inserts behind each other in the working direction. ADVANTAGE - The appts. is an easily assembled pattern unit, which occupies little space to give a trouble-free pattern selection.
