PURPOSE:To prevent color slurring and to improve a resist for superposing colors by operating a horizontal scanning means in sychronism with the rotation of an image forming body. CONSTITUTION:An optical index signal related to a scanning starting point (p) for the image forming body 80 is detected. Based on the index signal, a driving motor 954 for the image forming body 80 is controlled to be rotated. In order to synchronize both of them at such a time, the horizontal scanning frequency of a laser beam and a clock CLK impressed on the driving motor 954 are controlled so that they may be in integer relation. By rotating the image forming body 80 once, the horizontal scanning position of the laser beam becomes constant at any time and the write of the image is always started in a certain timing from detecting the reference position of the image forming body 80 and the resist for superposing colors is drastically improved. |
