In a device for a still-picture camera for removing photographic film from a film cartridge used in the still-picture camera, having one or more sensors for detecting film marks which have been set in the still-picture camera, it is proposed to integrate the device fully or partially with a film-developing device and to equip its means for removal of the film from the film cartridge at least partially with a film-guiding strip.
