MAGNETIC RECORDING CARRIER

A magnetic recording tape comprises a non-magnetic carrier coated on one side with a magnetic recording layer and on the other side with a dispersion of carbon (100 pts. wt.) and opt. nitrocellulose and/or a polyurethane resin (0-150 pts. wt.) in a copolymer resin (2-200 pts. wt.) of vinyl chloride and vinyl alcohol (contg. non less than 6, pref. 8-35 wt.%). The prods. are an improved data recording medium.
