摘要 PURPOSE:To form picture having sufficiently good brightness and being stable for a long time by using a photoreceptive member consisting of a specified material and contg. specified atoms, a developer of toner having a specified particle size and an ozone removing filter. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptive member constituted by laminating a photoconductive layer comprising a nonsingle crystal Si type material, a latent image holding layer contg. Si atoms, C atoms, atoms of the group III element of the periodic table, and, if necessary, H atoms and halogen atoms, and a sensible image holding layer contg. Si atoms, C atoms, and, if necessary, H atoms and halogen atoms, on a base body, is used in combination with a developer of an insulative toner having 0.45-0.90mum volume average particle size, and an ozone filter comprising a metal oxide catalyst housing a heater therein is used in combination therewith. By the combined effect of the photoreceptive member having high hardness and high durability with a developer and effect of removal of ozone generated during charging and impairing the photoreceptive member, pictures having high brightness and being stable for a long time are obtd.
