Intake system combining a ram pipe system and resonator system for multicylinder internal combustion engines

In an intake system combining a ram pipe system and resonator system for multicylinder internal combustion engines it is proposed that short connector-like ram pipes be arranged in an equalising reservoir of elongated design essentially transversely to its longitudinal extent and connected to long ram pipes arranged on the outer circumference of the equalising reservoir running transversely to its longitudinal extent, which ram pipes at the other end interact in groups with resonating chambers arranged in the equalising reservoir, resonating pipes interacting with the said chambers being arranged running U-shaped in a longitudinal direction inside the equalising reservoir with length-adjusting devices arranged in their straight sections.
