Centrifugal governor for internal combustion engines, in which the delivery-quantity adjusting member (16) is actuated via a reversing lever (12) on which, to determine the control travel, there engages at one end the governor (10) and at the other end the load-range input (20). In this arrangement, a cam plate (36) with a cam track (38) on the side of load-range input (20) can be pivoted by means of a minus lever (47) for a minus torque-control displacement, the leverage of this minus lever (47) being determined by the relative displacement of a first sleeve part (7) to a second sleeve part (8) of the governor sleeve (6), a torque-control spring (9) being arranged between the two sleeve parts. <IMAGE>
