Frontal protection for motor vehicles

A frontal protection facility for motor vehicles is designed in such a way that it is composed of a thin covering plate which is adapted to the front region of the bonnet, the lower and lateral edges of the said covering plate being flanged to match the edges of the bonnet and the upper edge of the said covering plate which faces the windscreen being designed to deflect the air stream and being able to be fastened in a releasable fashion to the bonnet by means of a bonding agent.
