Palletising system for displacing stackable objects, especially printed products which are arranged in stacks, having a gripping device which has gripping prongs and is arranged on an arm which is driven so as to rotate about a vertical axis and having an intermediate layer which acts as a base for a plurality of stacks to be deposited in the same plane in each case, the intermediate layer having elevations between which there are provided passages which are accessible from at least one edge and are of a width which at least corresponds to the width of the prongs and of a height which at least corresponds to the height of the prongs, the distance between the passages matching the distance between the prongs and the passages being designed to be open at the top.
