The present invention relates to an electron beam tube of the type with longitudinal interaction or with crossed fields comprising a substantially cylindrical collector (1) or electron-collecting anode with longitudinal axis YY'. The exterior wall (3) of the collector (1) or of the electron- collecting anode defines a plurality of cavities (5) which are open exteriorly in such a way as to cool the collector (1) or the electron- collecting anode, by direct radiation, onto a low temperature source, in particular into the space void. The exterior wall (3) of the collector (1) or of the electron-collecting anode comprises a plurality of fins (4). Heat pipes can be integrated with these fins (4).
