PURPOSE:To set a transparent lens glass to a substrate without deformation of the lens neither dimensional error by seal-fitting this lens to the substrate with a powdery glass having a low melting point. CONSTITUTION:This device has the process where a paste powdery glass 5 is applied to the circumferential edge of a round hole 4 of a metallic substrate 1, the process where the powdery glass 5 is applied to this round hole 4, the process where a spherical lens glass 2 having a melting point higher than that of the powdery glass 5 is fitted into this round hole 4, and the process where only the powdery glass 5 is melted by heating them in a furnace to seal-fit the spherical lens glass 2 to the substrate 1. In this device, the spherical lens glass 2 is seal- fitted to the substrate 1 at a temperature lower than the melting point of this glass 2. Since the lens is spherical, it is sufficient if the lens is dropped into the round hole 4 when it is set to the substrate 1. |
