PURPOSE:To make it possible to make preparations for the both actuation of setting and movement with one action by making the first and second connecting holes of a supporting member an axial center, and thereby constituting a pedal base to be moved up and down with connecting plates horizontally rotated. CONSTITUTION:When no sewing is processed, two connecting plates 5 for each are arranged at the both sides of a supporting member 3 and a pedal base 4 respectively. In this case, the pedal base 4 is raised up from the floor surface by horizontally rotating the connecting plates 5 as an axial center at the connecting holes 3b of the supporting member 3 in such a way as to be shown by dashed lines A and P in the figure wherein the pedal base 4 is in the uppermost position when the connecting plates 5 become vertical, and the connecting plates 5 are furthermore rotated so as to be rested on a work support plate 2 arranged in the horizontal direction between the pier studs of a sewing machine, the pedal base 4 is lowered down to the floor 1 by rotating the connecting plates 5 at the both sides in the direction reverse to the aforesaid one. |
