<p>PURPOSE:To provide a power generating device which is reduced in its size and the number of parts by a method wherein a spherical body is circulated within a vertical liquid containing cylinder from below to above by means of buoyancy, and contact of the spherical body with blades causes horizontal rotation of the blades to rotate a rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A spherical body 15 is dropped in a casing 1 through a ball drop hole 3 formed in the top part of the casing 1 in which a separator 4 is rotatably contained. When the spherical body enters some of compartments partitioned by partition plates 6, the spherical body 15 is soon moved to a water pass hole 2 resulting from rotation of the separator 4. In which case, liquid 16 in a liquid containing cylinder 9 flows in, the spherical body 15 floats through the water pass hole 2 and floats up within the liquid containing cylinder 9. In this case, contact of the spherical body 15 with blades 14 causes horizontal rotation of the blades to rotate an output shaft 12. Liquid in the chamber, in which the spherical ball 15 is present, is drained in the liquid containing cylinder 9 along with rotation of the separator 4, and thereafter the spherical body 15 is dropped through a ball drop passage 11 and returned in the casing 1.</p> |
