<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a fiber-reinforced plastics having excellent impact resistance and not undergoing delamination by laminating a resin layer reinforced with a cloth formed by interweaving two kinds of fiber yarns and having a specified structure with a resin layer reinforced with an inorganic fiber layer. CONSTITUTION:This reinforcing material is a cloth formed by interweaving two kinds of fiber yarns, wherein one of them is a high-MW polyethylene fiber yarn having a tensile strength >=20g/denier and a tensile modulus >=500g/denier. This cloth is constructed so that a high-MW polyethylene fiber yarn 1 may appear relatively more frequently on the surface of the cloth, and the other yarn 2 may appear relatively more frequently on its rear. A fiber-reinforced plastics is formed by laminating a first reinforced resin layer 8 reinforced with the above reinforcing material with a second reinforced resin layer 9 reinforced with an inorganic fiber layer (formed by laying a plurality of second prepreg sheets 9 upon each other) in such a manner that the rear of the first reinforced resin 8 is laid upon at least one surface of the second reinforced resin layer 9.</p> |
