PURPOSE:To obtain a soil improving agent, capable of activating microorganisms in soil and propagating even a large amount of chlorophyll, excellent in air permeability, water draining and holding properties and useful for growing plants by mixing a calcined paper making sludge substance with organic lime powder consisting of oystershell, eggshell, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective soil improving agent obtained by mixing (B) organic lime powder consisting of oystershell, eggshell, etc., containing the adductor or marine organism, etc., with (A) a calcined cellular sludge substance prepared by calcining paper making sludge at a high temperature of 1000-1200 deg.C. The afore-mentioned improving agent has remarkable effects as basal dressing and topdressing for fruit trees, vegetables or horticultural crops and effects on cultivation of good-quality rice. |
