PURPOSE:To increase the critical temp. of superconduction and to improve quantity uniformity, etc., by compounding a specific ratio of inorg. power having an electrical conductivity at the time of producing the superconducting stock by press-molding and sintering of the oxide powder of inorg. matter. CONSTITUTION:The inorg. powder having the electrical conductivity (e.g.; silver powder, copper powder) is mixed at 0.01 to 80 pts.vol. with 100 pts.vol. inorg. oxide powder compd. (e.g.; a powder mixture composed of Y2O3, CuO and BaO) which is a raw material for producing the superconducting stock. The powder mixture is then press molded and sintered, by which the superconducting stock is obtd. The electrical conductivity can be imparted to the raw material for producing the superconducting stock even by reducing at least the surface of the inorg. oxide powder (e.g. CuO) incorporated into the inorg. oxide powder compd. of the above-mentioned raw material with gaseous hydrogen, etc., is place of adding the inorg. powder having the electrical conductivity. |
