PURPOSE:To increase work efficiency, productivity and uniformity in characteristics and to save electric power by packing an inner vessel with a block-shaped material to be sintered, covering the vessel with an outer vessel and carrying out pressing and heating while controlling the flowing of gaseous Ar into the inner vessel. CONSTITUTION:A concave inner vessel 10 made of Al2O3, etc., is packed with ferrite blocks 4 and hermetically sealed by covering with a concave outer vessel 11 made of Al2O3, etc. Plural units of such inner and outer vessels 10, 11 are superposed in layers, put in a hot isostatic pressing apparatus and heated under about 1,000atm while controlling the flowing of gaseous Ar into the inner vessel 10 to a very small atm. Sintered material such as ferrite blocks 4 having high heat conductivity and uniform magnetic characteristics are produced without using conventional filling powder. |
