PURPOSE:To absorb stuffy sound in the interior of a car so as to improve comfort in ridge by sticking the rear face side of a ceiling material to the inner surface of a roof panel through pressure sensitive adhesive with damping effect. CONSTITUTION:A ceiling forming material 4 is formed by sticking a sheet- formed facing 20 on the surface side of a forming base material 21 formed as one piece along the inner surface of a roof panel 3. This ceiling forming material 4 is rigidly bonded at the lower face of the roof panel 3 after applying pressure sensitive adhesive 8 with damping effect to the rear face of the ceiling forming material 4. Accordingly, if vibration is generated in the car interior by the noise of an engine and the like, a part of its energy is absorbed by the facing 20 and the forming base material 21, enters the pressure sensitive adhesive 8 while being damped and is further damped by its damping effect. The remaining energy further spreads in the roof panel 3, and is transmitted and absorbed again into the pressure sensitive adhesive 8 through the other parts of the roof panel 3, so that stuffy sound in the car interior can be absorbed and comfort in ride is therefore improved. |
