PURPOSE:To increase traction performance, braking performance and turning performance by forming sipes, formed by continuous slip curves made by connecting multiple edges in parallel or vertical to the ground borderlines formed on a tread by making grooves, on the ground at equal space, in a studless tire. CONSTITUTION:Block banks 6, 7, and 9 and blocks 6a, 7a, and 9a are formed in a tire tread 1 by making linear circumferential main grooves 2, staggered circumferential grooves 3, lateral auxiliary grooves 8 and bent auxiliary grooves 4, and sipes 21 to 23 are formed on each block. These sipes connect in step more than three edges 21a to 21c, 22a and 23a in parallel to the edge of the blocks 6a, 7a, and 9a, to form continuous slip curves. Also, the edges 21a to 23a forming the sipes 21 to 23 are so formed that the blocks 6a, 7a, and 9a are separated evenly. With this constitution, traction property, braking property, and turning property can be increased. |
