METHOD FOR RECORDING DATA ON OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE:To record data in a short period of time by interleaving and recording the data of the data block to be recorded in synchronization with a clock signal in the desired line of the tracks over the entire frame thereof. CONSTITUTION:The data of the data block to be recorded in synchronization with the clock signal are recorded by interleaving according to the prescribed rules in the desired one line of the tracks over the entire frame thereof while the clock signal is formed in accordance with common clock forming patterns 36 facing the tracks in the plural lines of the respective tracks 34 at the time of recording the data on an optical card 1 having the plural tracks 34 consisting of the plural lines having the plural frames and the plural clock forming patterns 36 extending in the track direction. The data are recorded in a short period of time at a high density in this way and the recorded data are efficiently reproduced at a specified error correction rate.
