PURPOSE:To prevent a job from being abnormally ended due to the discrepancy of an execution environment by retrying the translation of a job control sentence, the classification of jobs, etc., in accordance with the execution environment changing information of a job registered in a spool and reregistering the retried result in the spool. CONSTITUTION:When a change is generated in an execution environment, a flag (* mark) for knowing the existence of changes in the execution environments of jobs, e.g. JOB2, JOB4 influenced by the change out of jobs registered in a spool data set 3 is set up by using an input device 7. Since the flag is set up in the job with the job name JOB2 when the job is started by a job scheduler 4 and executed, operation is returned to the processing of an input reader 2 and translation, job classification, etc., are retried and registered again in the spool data set 3. Thus, since the job is executed in the lates execution environment, the abnormal end of the job due to the discrepancy of the execution environment is avoided.
