PURPOSE:To simplify constitution and to reduce a space by folding a passbook, integrating the passbook and sharing a space, to which the half page part of the passbook to be folded is put, with the saving space of the printed passbook. CONSTITUTION:When the new passbook is issued, a printed passbook P is once saved to a passbook save part 16 and when the passbook is returned, the printed passbook is returned to customer continuously with the new passbook P. On the other hand, when it is forgotten to pick up the passbook P, the passbook P is carried through a first carrier route 20a until the passbook is turned to a condition that the tip of the passbook P is put into the passbook save part 16. Then, a gate roller 19 is operated and the passbook is turned to a condition that the central part of the passbook P is pushed and the passbook is automatically folded in two. After that, the passbook is sent into a second carrier route 20b. Since the passbook is folded and integrated, a slip handling device can be made compact and the space, to which the half page part of the passbook to be folded is put, can be shared with the saving space of the printed passbook. Thus, the constitution can be simplified and the space can be reduced. |
