PURPOSE:To secure visibility and prevent forming of scratches on a vehicle body panel by sand particles, by forming a water collecting groove on the outside to the vehicle body panel at one end along the vehicle body opening edge in longitudinal direction to prevent entry of water rain into an glass. CONSTITUTION:A fastener 10, sticked with adhesive 11 on the outside of a vehicle body panel 4 at one end, is formed in a cross-section of U-shape and a water collecting groove 10a is formed at the center of the fastener. An window mold 3 is provided between the fastener 10 and an window glass to secure airtightness and decorativeness. With this constitution, when a vehicle is running in rainfall, rain water flows into the outside through the water collecting groove 10a of the fastener 10 along the periphery of the window glass 2. Accordingly, the rain water does not spread on the surface of the window glass 2 and visibility can not be obstructed. Also, sand particles are not embeded between the vehicle body panel 4 and the fastener 10 and, as a result, forming of scratches on the vehicle body can be prevented. |
