PURPOSE:To improve startability of an engine, by inhibiting the output of a fuel injection control pulse before completion of calculation for a width of the fuel injection control pulse on the vasis of all engine parameters required for calculation of said pulse width when the engine is started. CONSTITUTION:At operation of a vehicle, after a power switch is turned ON, firstly each kind of information is fetched, on the basis of the information, each kind of correction coefficients is calculated. During this time, generation of an output of a fuel injection control pulse is inhibited before ending every calculation of the correction coefficient. While from a low engine speed generally at starting, fetch of each kind of input information and calculation of the correction coefficient are completed in the second time fuel injection timing after starting of an engine, and a fuel injection control pulse of width met with an engine operational condition is output. In this way, starting performance of the engine can be improved. |
