PURPOSE:To improve a communication quality by setting a packet sending interval according to a data generating rate reported beforehand, temporarily accumulating the generated packet, and successively sending it to a transmission path according to the packet sending interval. CONSTITUTION:The packets generated in a packet generating source are once accumulated in a packet buffer before they are sent to a transmission path 102, and sent to the transmission path 102 according to the sending interval set beforehand. Consequently in a multiplexing device, a queue generated due to the simultaneous arrival of the packets at a certain time is reduced until the arrival of the next packets. Thus since the delay and rejection rate of the multiplexing device is reduced, the communication at high quality can be executed. |
