PURPOSE:To secure an excellent water squeezing action without entailing any damage to service life and function in a belt itself, by forming each elastic material layer in an inner part and one side of a woven ground fabric as one body and also forming a hard or half-hard sponge layer solidly in the other side of the ground fabric. CONSTITUTION:An endless belt 1 is provided with a forming surface 2 of a sponge layer and a smooth surface 3 of an elastic material layer. In this case, a surface smoothing elastic material layer 6 consisting of polyurethaneelastomer or the like is installed in one side of a nylon ground fabric layer 4 woven into double weaves 41 and 42, and a hard sponge layer 5 is solidly formed in the other side by an adhesive layer 7 of a urethane system, etc., while continuous air bubbles 51 are installed in a range from the surface to the inside. When this endless belt is used for an ENP belt, the said smooth surface 3 is made slidingly contact with a pressure shoe, and the said forming surface 2 is made contact with felt. According to this method, an excellent water squeezing action is securable without entailing any damage to service life and function in the belt 1 itself. |
