<p>The stereo system provides inputs to right and left channels (1,7), each of which has parallel paths consisting of a direct amplifier path (4,9) and a delayed (2,8) amplifier (3,10) path. Loudspeaker outputs are targetted at right (OR), left (OL) and centre (OC) regions of the hearing range. The outputs from the delayed amplification paths are provided from speakers directed to the right and left regions. Other speakers coupled (6,11) to the direct amplifiers are directed at angles to left and right channels to provide balancing of reception over the complete range.</p> |
