PURPOSE:To widen the light distribution without sacrificing the appearance of the ceiling surface by making a light source unit not protrude out of a case when an emergency lighting is not required, and making it protrude out of the case when the emergency lighting is required. CONSTITUTION:When a normal power source is turned off, the operation of a solenoid relay 5 stops and a halogen lamp 4 is lit with a storage battery. Here, a member 7 to be attracted of a light source unit 2 comes off the solenoid relay 5 and the light source unit 2 falls off with its with a member 9 to be engaged or the flange 9 of ceiling beams 14, 15 and the light source unit 2 is suspended outside a case 1. When the normal power source is turned on, the light source unit 2 is suspended within the case 1. This makes the light distribution wider without sacrificing the appearance of the ceiling surface and reduces the number of light sources to be installed. |
