PURPOSE: To generate an supply a high amplitude voltage signal allowing easy integration by bipolar or MOS technology by connecting a reference voltage generation block to the output stage of a bootstrap circuit. CONSTITUTION: Reference voltage VFL is floated based on output voltage VOUT and follows the voltage VOUT. Thereby the voltage VFL has the charge level of a bootstrap capacitor CBOOT when the output of the voltage VOUT is an L level (≈0) and has an H level (≈VCC) when the output is 'H'. Thereby when the output is 'L', the capacitor CBOOT is charged at a required level. When the output is 'H', a voltage drop crossing a bootstrap diode DBOOT is 'L'. Thereby the diode DBOOT can be easily integrated only by a low loss and an output signal having a high dynamic range can be supplied from the output stage.
