Scroll type pump like oil-free vaccum pump gives higher performance and reliability. The scroll type pump for refrigeration or air conditioning has engaged fixed and orbiting scrolls which expand or compress fluid, and wraps with spiral projections. The fixed scroll is 180 degree declined to the orbiting scroll. Radius of inscribed circle between side walls of wrap, is gradually increased toward end of the spiral in outer periphery.
