PURPOSE:To constitute the alarm timepiece which generates voices of various person only by replacing an IC card by storing voice data on the IC card in word units, combining words and editing a document, and synthesizing a speech. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 6 outputs a two-byte instruction consisting of data 1 and data 2 to a speech synthesizing LSI 9. Those data 1 and 2 are entered into a document editing table 5. For example, the data 1 consists of seven bits 0 - 6 and specifies words 1 - 127. The data 2 consists of 4-bit channel specification information and 4-bit reduction specification information. In this case, the speech synthesizing LSI 9 synthesizes a speech with four channels and specifies which channel is used for the synthesis. When reduction is specified, 0 - -24 dB are selectable. Consequently, speed data are stored on the IC card in word units, words are combined to edit a document and synthesize a speech, and the document is modified only by changing the card. |
