The aq. slurry compsn. contains min. 60 wt.% coal and biosynthetic polysaccharide as stabilisers e.g. 0.01-0.10 wt.% S-130 or S-194. The 0.75 wt.% of S-194 solution has Brookfield viscrosity of min. 2000 cp at No. 2 spindle of 3 rpm. The slurry has a good heat-stability, shear and storing properties at room temperature.
