PURPOSE:To keep the grease feed quantity adequate and improve the reliability of the bearing rotation by lubricating the bearing of a high-speed rotation turbo- blower with grease and forming a grease reservoir section adjacently to the bearing. CONSTITUTION:A rolling element 28 is arranged between an inner ring 27 fixed to a shaft 26 and an outer ring 29 fixed to a bearing section to constitute a bearing 19. A grease reservoir section 32 is provided adjacently to this bearing 19, and an adequate quantity of grease 30 (30-50% of the space volume) is filled in the bearing. The grease of the inner ring 27 is scattered to the outer ring 29 and the grease reservoir section 32 by the centrifugal force via the high-speed rotation of the rolling element 28 and the inner ring 27, and the grease 30 and 31 is formed in a dike shape on both side faces of the groove of the outer ring 29 and the grease reservoir section by the gas stream due to rotation. The grease 31 of the reservoir section 32 gradually flows into the groove of the outer ring 29 by the viscosity and gravity, the scattered grease 30 is replenished, and the grease in the bearing is automatically kept at an adequate quantity. |
